Dr Nay Aung is a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre and Associate Professor at Queen Mary University of London, offering world-class cardiovascular care to private patients in London. He provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for all cardiac conditions, with subspecialty expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and heart failure.

Dr Aung graduated with honours from University College London Medical School in 2008 and completed his cardiology training at leading London teaching hospitals. He holds a PhD in cardiovascular genetics and artificial intelligence from Queen Mary University of London — supported by a prestigious Wellcome Trust Research Training Fellowship — and an Executive MSc in Health Economics from the London School of Economics.

An EACVI Level-3-certified cardiac MRI expert, Dr Aung is trained across multiple imaging modalities including cardiovascular CT and echocardiography, delivering integrated multimodal assessments tailored to each individual patient. He has particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of heart failure — both genetic and non-genetic — using precision medicine approaches.
